Buckeye Firearms Association PAC endorsement follows Vivek’s recent endorsement by the National Rifle Association (NRA) Political Victory Fund. Both groups praise Vivek’s unwavering defense of Second Amendment rights, combined with his support for restoring law and order in our cities.
COLUMBUS, OH — The Buckeye Firearms Association PAC has endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy for governor, marking another major show of support from Ohio’s gun-rights community. Vivek will join Buckeye Firearms leadership and Second Amendment advocates Tuesday evening at an event hosted by Vance Outdoors, a family-owned business that has served Central Ohio sportsmen with equipment, training, and expertise since 1938.
In announcing the organization’s endorsement, Linda Walker, President of Buckeye Firearms Association and NRA Board Member, praised Vivek’s commitment to defending constitutional freedoms, saying, “We know that Vivek is a strong supporter of the Constitution, and will not only defend, but also champion Second Amendment rights in Ohio. We look forward to working with him on issues important to gun owners, hunters, and families throughout the state. For these reasons, and many more, Buckeye Firearms Association PAC enthusiastically endorses Vivek Ramaswamy for Governor of Ohio!”
With Buckeye Firearms Association PAC’s support, Vivek has now secured endorsements from Ohio’s largest gun-rights organizations, including the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund announced last week.
“The right to keep and bear arms is not negotiable, and Ohio needs a governor who stands for the Second Amendment without apology. I’m honored to win the support of the Buckeye Firearms Association, and I will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with gun owners across our state to protect the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution,” said Vivek.
Buckeye Firearms Association is a grassroots-driven social organization that defends and advances the right of more than 4 million Ohio citizens to own and use firearms for all legal activities, including self-defense, hunting, competition, and recreation.
This endorsement is the latest in a growing list of support for Vivek since the launch of his campaign. After earning President Donald Trump’s endorsement on day one and the Ohio Republican Party’s endorsement in May 2025, Vivek has built a broad coalition that includes conservative lawmakers, community leaders, labor unions, law enforcement, and business leaders from across Ohio. That momentum helped fuel a record-breaking 2025, as the campaign held more than 110 in-state fundraising events and raised $19.8 million — the highest single-year fundraising total in Ohio gubernatorial history — with an average contribution of just $76.
