COLUMBUS, OH — The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy for Governor, marking a major show of support from the country’s most prominent pro-Second Amendment organization and reinforcing Vivek’s standing as a trusted ally of Ohio gun owners and sportsmen.
“The NRA Political Victory Fund is proud to endorse Vivek Ramaswamy for Governor of Ohio. Across America, radical progressive groups are waging an all-out war on the Second Amendment. Now, more than ever, gun owners must engage in the political process to defend our God-given rights. Vivek Ramaswamy has proven himself a fierce, unwavering champion of the Second Amendment, and Ohioans can trust that he will stand as an ironclad defender of their right to keep and bear arms,” said John Commerford, chair of the NRA-PVF.
In response to the endorsement, Vivek said, “I’m honored to have the endorsement of the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund, a leading defender of the Second Amendment and the constitutional liberties of law-abiding citizens. Ohio gun owners and sportsmen know I will always fight to defend their rights, their freedoms, and their ability to protect their families. That will never change.”
The NRA is America’s longest-standing civil rights organization. Together with its more than five million members nationwide, the NRA proudly defends the Second Amendment and is dedicated to protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States.
This endorsement is the latest in a growing list of support for Vivek since the launch of his campaign. After earning President Donald Trump’s endorsement on day one and the Ohio Republican Party’s endorsement in May 2025, Vivek has built a broad coalition that includes conservative lawmakers, community leaders, labor unions, law enforcement, and business leaders from across Ohio. That momentum helped fuel a record-breaking 2025, as the campaign held more than 110 in-state fundraising events and raised $19.8 million — the highest single-year fundraising total in Ohio gubernatorial history — with an average contribution of just $76.
