Ads Focus on Safer Communities and a More Affordable Future for Ohio Families
COLUMBUS, OH — The Vivek for Ohio campaign today announced an historic $10 million statewide ad buy, marking one of the earliest and largest advertising investments ever made in an Ohio gubernatorial race. The buy features two ads — “Ohio’s Future” and “Backing the Blue” — both of which will run statewide across broadcast, cable, streaming, and digital platforms to reach voters wherever they are. The early statewide buy — twice what Democrat Amy Acton has raised in total — underscores the momentum behind Vivek’s campaign.
“We’re going up and we aren’t coming down until November,” said Jonathan Ewing, campaign manager for Vivek Ramaswamy for Ohio.
As a father of three young children, Vivek is running for governor to build a stronger, safer, and more affordable Ohio for the next generation, and today marks the beginning of taking that message directly to voters across the state.
“Ohio’s Future” features Vivek’s wife, Apoorva Ramaswamy, speaking about his priorities as an Ohio native and father of three young children and his commitment to building safer, more affordable communities with better schools for hardworking Ohio families.
“Backing the Blue” features Ottawa County Sheriff Steve Levorchick, highlighting Vivek’s focus on empowering law enforcement and restoring law and order across Ohio.
Since receiving President Donald Trump’s endorsement on the first day of his campaign and the Ohio Republican Party’s endorsement in May 2025, Vivek has built a broad coalition of support from conservative lawmakers, community leaders, labor unions, law enforcement, and business leaders across the state. That momentum translated into record-breaking fundraising in 2025, with the campaign hosting more than 110 in-state fundraising events and raising $19.8 million — the largest single-year total in Ohio gubernatorial history — with an average contribution of just $76.
