Acton Stands With Obama, Not Ohio Families

October 24, 2026

COLUMBUS – With 10 days left in the race, Amy Acton is spending today in Cleveland with Barack Obama, the architect of Obamacare, instead of the Ohio families still paying for it.

“Obamacare was a broken promise from day one. The website crashed, people lost the plans they were told they could keep, premiums skyrocketed, and Ohio’s own Obamacare co-op collapsed and left families scrambling,” said Connie Luck, Vivek for Ohio spokesperson. “Seniors paid for that mess with cuts to their Medicare. Amy Acton cheered it on then, and she won’t stand up for Ohio seniors now. Ohioans can’t afford a liberal governor who shows up for Obama but never shows up for them.”

While Acton spends the day with Obama, Vivek Ramaswamy and the Ohio Republican ticket are continuing their statewide bus tour through Southwest Ohio, meeting voters face to face. At every stop, they’re reminding Ohioans what the Obama years and the liberal left delivered: broken health care promises, higher premiums, a government that grew while Ohio families fell behind, and far-left activists who took over city halls, turned their backs on police and left neighborhoods less safe.

Vivek is offering a different path built on lower property taxes, lower costs, safer streets and leaders who answer to Ohioans, not to a former president flown in to try to distract from the failures of the far-left.
